He is the God of wisdom, fortune, and spiritual success. He destroys all hindrances & impediments and paves the way to success & realization. He is worshipped with his two wives — Success (Siddhi) and Intelligence (Buddhi), symbolic of his powers to bestow success and divine intelligence. Ganesha has an elephant head with a single tusk. He embodies the power and wisdom of the elephant and mobility as the swiftness of the mouse — his vehicle.
